We had a great discussion at the April Action Group (meeting notes here). The people who come regularly are really learning how to be more and more effective by videoconference, and the group is building up into a valuable resource and support for both Northern Lakes CMH and those who attend. This month we talked about a new recovery resource, a new block grant, how to best combine two consumer newsletters, the fall celebration and possible theme, the anti-stigma poster campaign being designed by students at Northwestern Michigan College, and more! Our next meeting will not be until June – we are taking May off for the Walk A Mile In My Shoes Rally in Lansing!
